Five silvers today, plus a neat John Deere stick pin

Today I detected at several new sites just to try and find a new hot spot. I also ended up going back to Double-Digit Park for a couple of hours. At the first old park I hunted at I found a 1900 Indian Head and a neat old John Deere stick pin. At the second park I found a 1907 Barber Dime and a 1948 Illinois State Fair token. Then I went back to Double-Digit Park to see if there was any more silver. There was, two Mercs and a Rosie. Then I went to an old grade school and found the 1953 quarter right next to the curb.

Here are today's finds before I cleaned them:

    And after cleaning:

Two Indian Heads today, one nice and one toasted:

    Five silvers today:

    1948 Illinois State Fair token:

And my favorite find of the day, this old John Deere stick pin:

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Nice finds Tony. I agree the stick pin is really a nice find. Almost looks Christmas-y. I wonder if it was a holiday pin. Best wishes and HH, Dave. P.S. Looking forward to our road trip!

    Great digs Tony!

How do you add the pictures to your posts? I've noticed that for whatever reason they are not visible when I view your posts from work. I'm assuming they are hosted somewhere that is blocked from here.
