    sawblade?

    hi all i found this whatchajiggy about 20 feet from a some railroad tracks,any ideas?

    Not thinking saw blade, but more of a cog.

    I agree with coinnut, it looks more like a ratcheting gear or cog.

    i actually thought cog to but still would't there be an arbor or hole of some sort to mount the cog...

    Wouldn't there have to be an arbor or hole of some sort to mount a saw blade?

    (I'm guessing.... I don't play with saws because I value my limbs)

    Are you sure the hole wasn't small and rusted shut? If there is no hole, then the only way it would be a cog is if the casing on both sides of it held it in place. Other than that it is a

    I was just talking to a guy who saw something very similar at a coin shop that was listed as a hardware store token.

    hmmm a token huh? could be, i am going to make an electolysis thing a mahjig and i will see if i can find anything on it....hmmm token...thanks!

    Let us know if it cleans up. I made a big electrolysis tub for relics and it works pretty well.
