The button has an iron back to it, I tried finding this button on the net but couldn't, now that I know what it is maybe I can find more about it, thanks a lot for the info

Some more info on it. I think it is listed in Albert's Button Book under the heading of "Other Veteran Organizations" It is button VN20A, and it states - The SV monogram with 13 stars encircling; staff Fox patent back. It did not tell me if the back was brass or iron like yours is. Here is a picture of the fox patent back design.
Yours may not be this back design.

Sweet looking "07" IH. The ring looks old and I'll bet silver. Have you been able to find out anything on the button??

Congrats on the variety of finds, when you have a hunt like that it keeps things interesting, you never know what might be in the hole. That ring looks great as well as the 1907 IH. Safe & HH
