    2013 was a good year

Here are most of my keepers for 2013

I think my favorite coin this year is the 47 Walker, I love the design of these coins.

I got more buffs this year than I usually do but only found one v this year

My best ring find this year is the gold ring with five diamonds in it and recently I found out that the silver ring on top of it has genuine diamonds in it too and is circa 1940's.

In this bunch of finds my favorite is definitely the officer's artillery button, it's the first one of these that I've ever found and a rare find around these parts, I figured if I found anything like this it would be in Battle Creek because there's always been military there.

I do like finding the tokens

I think that this is my favorite token find for 2013 because it's in such good shape mainly cause it's one of the common ones. It's hard to find CW tokens in any kind of good shape.

I really enjoy finding the foreign coin's, especially some of the older Canadian and English coins, they had some really nice design's, the German coin with the swastika is my first German coin with a swastika on it, my brother beat me to that, a few years back he found a big silver (half dollar size) that's got the swastika on it.

This pile of wheats shakes down into a 1/2 pint milk bottle to the brim. I sure have accumulated a lot of wheat cents in my metal detecting career, I am getting close to a gallon full with fruit jars.

I did find 2 other zippo's this year but as many of you know it's darn near impossible to gather everything up that ya found throughout the year to show so I am going to show my prize relic find here, since I found this lighter I've joined a zippo forum and was able to get a year on this lighter.

Before I posted this lighter on the Zippo forum I had done some quite extensive internet research trying to get a good idea as to when the lighter was made, I had guessed it was 1938-1939 but the pros say it's a 38 so that's what I'm calling it. When I told them it had a solder in camstop that's what made the decision final cause I guess they didn't have it in 39
