    Dig that foil signal!

Though I have been checking in here and enjoying reading about and seeing some awesome coin and relic digs by you all, I haven't been hitting much other than clad on the beach. Decided to try some turf and tot lots today. thumbsup01 Got a 4 - 6 VDI on the MXT, but it just sounded more solid than the usual foil targets that hit in that range. Dug down a few inches the tan bark and saw GOLD! My first thought was, Crud, a piece of gold foil! But it is marked 14k and kind of unique. One of the points is broken off the anchor, too bad! crying01 All in all a fun find for an old Navy guy! 8)

Very nice piece of gold. Hey Ron have you found any other gold with your MXT? Kind of wondering what other shapes of gold VDI readings have been.
    Thanks

    Nice find Ron! thumbsup01

When I read the title of your thread, I figured you dug a gold chain. They usually show up in the foil VDIs too.

    Nice dig Ron!!!

I think a lot of us overlook good finds in the foil range.

I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
