    Double Check Revials 14K

Hi all. Finally got the chance to break out the rock tumbler to start working on cleaning all the clad from last year, and to look over the junk jewelry one last time before closing out another year. After cleaning up this one (heavy) bracelet, I notice some wording on the clasp that I couldn't see, even with my reading glasses. So after breaking out the magnifying glass, there it was, the number 14. It read TURKEY on one side and MIDAS 14K on the other. That just goes to show, when in doubt, always double check and even have an extra set of eyes look at it as was the case with my Chinese coin. A year or so ago, I was fixin to through out what I thought was a old rusty washer, until the wife saw writing on it. Turned out to be a coin dated back in the 1700's. So you never know!! Good hunting all

    Very nice bracelet
It would have been a shame to throw that in your junk pile.

Hey, thanks guys. Don, you know, don't know if it's old age kicking in or what, but I've been find a lot more goodies in my junk piles lately. Del, it weighed 18 g. Good idea Timewarpdigger. Need to find a small one to keep in my pouch. Good hunting all.

I bet you would coinnut. This wasn't the first time or second time some good was found in my junk. Just like swinging the detector, I need to s-l-o-w down and be more thorough. Thanks coinnut and NJJOSH, it was a great surprise. Happy hunting all.
