    Metal Detecting

Winter edition... The frost line is 6 to 8 inches in spot. The ground just laughs at the Lesche and shovel. Took out the heavy artillery today. Kind of a drag lugging them around but they made digging a little more acceptable.

A cordless drill w/auger bit, a little C4, and you might get into the ground here.

I've thought about using Tannerite, but I don't want to alarm the local Gend'armes or get the attention of Homeland Security.

That is some sheer determination, of which I can fully understand (the MD fever, not the frozen ground.)

Nice I see some digging but no gold coins I bet you are VERY selective on which targets get dug.

Didn't realize that they were part of a metal detectorists tool kit. Hope your hunt went well.

You probably wouldn't feel it, as your hand would probably be frozen too.
