First 2 hour hunt ever. First 2 silvers ever.

I hit the backyard of an abandoned house in the hood that is slated for demolition. I grew up knowing the old woman and she died some years ago. Anyway I hunted her small backyard for two hours with my new garrett 250. In the same hole I found a 1943 Rosie and a 1951 Rosie back by the old garage. That was in the first half hour. The rest of the time I dug a 68 Rosie and some junk but I'm satisfied. I would've been discouraged if I didn't find silver my first day, I'm going to sip a bud light lime to celebrate.

Silver is always great. Who owns the house now and how did you get permission?

Most people do not score silver on their first hunt. You got off to a great start.

Thanks folks. and CTTodd I'm sure the city owns it since there are signs posted that it's going to be demolished. The spray paint marker is already on the tree....around here there are PLENTY of abandoned houses.....and nobody seems to care what I do as long as I'm not burning the house down....I also know of a three square block area full of abandoned homes and empty lots...it would take me all summer just to hunt that. I was talking with the neighbor and everything.
