Sunday hunt with my son & Tony Two-Cent

We met up today with Tony Two-cent for a morning of hunting. Although there was Silver to be had, I didn't score any today.
It was only our second time out with the E-Trac and it's obvious that weI haven't mastered it yet. While Tony was digging up Silver, Alec and I did manage to dig $9.20 in clad and 1 Wheat Cent. We decided to call it a day around 2:30. Alec and I stopped at one more park on the way home and scored 1 more wheat cent and my first silver ring of the year. All in all it was a great day and a privilege to watch Tony in action. I look forward to hunting with him again.

Very cool that you and Tony hooked up to hunt together. I'm envious. Looks like you cashed out pretty well, that's awesome.

Hey Don, I was wondering when you were going to get out with the new machine. You will like the Etrac once you get a handle on the sounds. It really locates the silver well. I have found a Rosie and several small silver jewelry items so far this year with mine.

Congrats on the silver ring with your new machine. Is that the first piece of silver you found with it? Sound like you three had a nice day of detecting. Lot's of clad too. I wish I could hunt with Tony, so I can learn his E Trac tricks
