best find ever question laid to rest

Looked at the fellow in the mirror and promptly told him where to go. Got tired of arguing with myself....got no reply! Definitely time to head out. With everything still under snow or frozen I headed out to a local park with the Pro riding shotgun.
With a light rain, a dark sky and a happy soul this digaholic was primed. First find was an eyeballer that I didn't need a hand with.
Wondered how it was lost! Felt sort of bad for the Bluenoser that lost it.

The dig continued with a few coppers being lifted out of the permafrost then another eyeballer or should I say eye balled ball?

    Go Man U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Put my new found ball to good use. Kicked it and where ever in the halibut it went that is the direction I swung. great pattern for the feeble minded. A few more coins. A few more kicks. This continued till I saw a four legged black patch of steel wool charging. Lord love a duck. The owner quickly put the thing under leash as it continued to growl and bark.
Lady gave a quick apology and began her deluge of questions that I'm sure most of you detectortists have fielded many time.
Then the never fails to be asked question was asked. "What was your best find?" Without hesitation I answered...."My wife." She laughed and stated that without a doubt I my wife had me well trained............um. Was she thinking all men are dogs or that all men have to be trained like dogs. Didn't ask, turned around and headed home with that deep thought lodged in my thick skull! Just another day in the life of a digaholic.
From the land of the Bluenose.....life is a beach at least till the tide comes in and the Bud is all gone. Swish and dig at the drop of a dime!
