    May 6th hunt in the woods, I got me some nice old silver today

    The other day I was talking to my brother on the phone and said lets go to the woods in B.C., he said nah there ain't anything left in them woods anymore but have I got news for him

    wow , great looking seated Larry the buffalo is fine too is that part of a silver ladies pocket book??

    Two nice coins and one not so nice one That Seated is sweet and early buffalos in that condition are great to find...The memorial? Plant that thing at 8" in a park for someone to find

    Not too shabby for a woods with nothing left in it.

    Congrats! That Seated is in nice shape, and the Buff isn't too bad for it's age either.

    I think you're right about the ladies pocket book or compact, looks like the loops probably had a chain attached at one time, I searched the area for other parts to it but couldn't find any. The other side had two spots for probably rouge and powder I would guess but theres no writing on it anywhere.

    Way to go! I love finding seated coinage. I've been lucky in the last year. Found more seated coinage than in the previous 30 years combined.

    I seen him today and he said if I had called him he wouldn't have been there, he was out fishing.
