SDHOS Today... But at least I got some Indians

Yes, today I had to endure the dreaded Silverless Drive Home Of Shame!

But I did get a enough Indians for a basketball team.

I didn't have much time to hunt today after the Mother's Day activities, so I headed to two nearby parks that I have hunted to death. At the first park I got an 1899 Indian Head and a 1920 Wheat Cent.

At the second park I got Indian Heads dated 1896, 1903, 1904 and 1908, plus a 1916 wheat cent and another store token.

I love finding Indian Heads so I had a lot of fun in spite of the silverless day.

Here are all of today's finds:

And the keepers. Unusual ratio of Indian Heads to wheat cents today:

Got another store token today. I have no idea what the numbers "1258" on the reverse might represent. Maybe it was a sales sample.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Despite no silver the coins you did find were in nice shape. I would love to have a green patina set of Indians that would be unique. Wisconsin Digger

Wow, certainly no shame in the silverless. I believe you well made up for it in the other nice coins. I know I would be elated.

Sweet finds! 1258 may be a street number for the establishment the token was issued from.

I think I might have that many Indians in my three years. No shame there.
Why there are more Indians there than you'll find at the supposed Indian casinos we have here

The SDHOS is very routine for me. The CDHOS is also a common occurence. But that group of finds makes for a good hunt in anyone's book.

WHAT....no silver. Sorry to read your post headline but those IH's sure do make up for it. You mentioned that at one of the parks you had beat it to death yet you were still able to get some keepers.....
