    Tungsten Ring

Found this ring near the concession stand at the ballpark area of Tom Sawyer Park. This is the first piece of jewelery I have found. The VDI numbers ranged mostly from 48 ring/pull tab to 53 screw cap and continued to move from 18 to 85. I dug the signal since it varied so much and would not settle. The ring was about three inches deep and looks as good as the day it was lost. It is made of Tungsten and appears to be a wedding band. No identifying info on the ring.

Nice find! I first thought it might be Titanium, but Ti runs a solid VDI in the mid-30's.
