    3 Braided Hair LCs

Got out today for a morning hunt. I suspected there might be another site on the other side of a stream near the cellar hole site I've been working latey but it didn't pan out. So I hiked back around and hit the far end of the previous site and was rewarded with three LCs. Two of them came from the old trail leading into the site.

I had gone over this area briefly once before but decided to go low and slow this time.

Also managed a couple of buttons and some typical homesite relics.

Bugs weren't bad. Stay safe !
Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank

Those are some nice looking coins! The back of that one looks odd though. The writing seems too far from the edge. Is it just badly struck? HH, Dave.

    Congrats on a great day!

Around here right now, the mosquitoes would carry me back to their lair if tried a woods hunt.

That 1853 is looking pretty good for her age. Great finds.
