    Another First

    Found my first ring yesterday morning at the old park by my house dug it by an old tree thinks its pretty old happy to check off another first Name:  IMG_20140607_170038.jpg

    the ring does look old maybe around 1900 , silver can come out looking very black to drabby grey sometimes too.

    I agree. It looks like a old discolored silver ring to me.
    Look inside the band, it should say STERLING in there. It might say .925 too.
    Usually the older items are marked STERLING.

    How would i clean it?....I don't see any markings inside the band so I don't know but its cool looking thanks for all the feedback

    on scratching off another from the 1st list. You can clean it by taking some baking soda and adding very little water to make a paste. Just rub the paste on the ring.
