WTG Tony, that hunt as you said will be hard to beat. I know you have been wanting a 1/2 dime and now you've got two of them.

Still looking for my first Capped Bust coin. The 1869 IH was a great find also.

So do you have any other sites that you are waiting 29 years to detect again????

    Ditto!
I've been too busy with brush-hogging and fence work to even get out. Hopefully that will change soon!

Congrats on a stellar Father's day Tony!

Couldn't resist coming back to this post. That was such an amazing day. Everyone should have a day like this. You just have to get yourself in the right old spot and swing the loop. I know the feeling as a month or so ago I came up with a 1785 half real, 1858 half dime, 1908 Barber dime and a couple of Indians the same day. I'm still in shock over finding silver from 3 different centuries in the same day. These are the times that really bring a thrill to those in this hobby. Way to go on a great day!

Both coins came out well after cleaning. your silver finds keep getting older and older. Waiting to see when you find a draped bust of flowing hair designed silver coin. Good luck.
