here an older 1850's era token that fooled me for about 20 or 30 seconds , I thought for sure I had a gold coin.

I remember in the 60's and 70's, you could go into a coin shop and pick out coins out of a box for real cheap. It was mostly foreign coins, worn coins or damaged coins. Priced 5 to 10 cents each. Also remember gumball style machines that had mini plastic eggs filled with foreign coins or foreign paper money for around 50 cents. That may explain coin spills that have a lot of different countries represented.
