Welcome to the forum, Denny! Glad to have another Midwesterner here. St. Louis is an old city with lots of history, I bet you have found some interesting items in the past 20 years. Like you, I am an E-Trac user and primarily a coinshooter.
Congrats on your retirement, I am envious!
We are looking forward to your participation on the forum. Best of luck and happy hunting!

Greetings Denny and welcome! I live on the Illinois side of the river. I do some MDing at the STL parks. It's slim pickens but I do make an occasional good find. I found an 1851 half cent in March. I also use the e-trac. Looking forward to your stories and finds. HH, Dave.

Tony, I feel like I know you! Watched all your videos! Ran into your buddy Dave (DaddyDigger) last fall
at an old park in St.Louis. In fact the two of you are why I bought my E-Trac just 2 weeks ago. I'm still learning it, but it's been good to me so far...

Wow, my two idols! Dave read my comment to Tony! I met you last year at I believe Marquette Park.
You had a handful and I had maybe 10... I just bought an E-Trac 2 week ago so look out!

Yes, I remember you Denny. That park we met at is where I found the half cent. I took Tony there in April and told him the history you had told me about the old photo with 10,000 gathered around the park. We'll have to meet up again sometime. If you have any e-trac questions just ask. There's lots of good knowledge on this forum. HH, Dave.

Welcome from Washington state. One word of advice regarding retirement...don't do what I did when I went to work full time two weeks after retiring. No I really am re-TIRED. Still time for detecting though!
