    Greetings from Indiana...

Ran across a link to this site and decided to join up. I live in east central Indiana in a county where the total population is only a little over 20,000 and the largest town has less than 6000 people. I enjoy hunting old coins the most but I'll hunt clad if I don't have an old site handy. I'm not a marathon hunter, my sites are close so I usually only detect an hour or so at a time. Course I may go out several times a day too. lol Haven't made any great finds lately but here's a few from a couple weeks before. The dime has a CC mint mark but you have to look good.

Hi Phil! Glad you decided to join us. That is a nice grouping of your finds. The IHs down your way do come out of the ground in great shape! I love that 1874, as well as the awesome looking 1884. Enjoy the forum!!

I live 2 miles from the Ohio line in Randolph Co. I'm about 30 miles east of Muncie. Too bad we are so far apart or we could get together and do a little hunting.

I'm just tickled to death to dig any Carson City mint marked coins in Indiana. It would have been nice to get a key date coin though. My best coin find value wise was an 1870 IH with XF detail. At least that's what the buyer for the large coin shop down the road said. They offered to buy but I wouldn't sell. lol
