What machine you using Nesdore? I just started the beach scene last Oct, but I do know, in the dry sand, head for the area where most people set up their chairs/towels. Good spot is just a tad back from the high tide line. Now, in the water, I've only found battery money but I heard where the soft sand meets the packed hard sand and also indentations. Good hunting to ya, Eric

It has been my experience to look where the water comes in the furthest onto the beach. (look down the shoreline and you will see) My best finds have came from those areas.

In sand items or targets are not always flat so dig em all. garrett other than the pulse machines do not cotton to wet sand and hot rocks. Enjoy the trip and looking forward to your report!
From the land of the Bluenose.....life is a beach at least till the tide comes in and the Bud is all gone. Swish and dig at the drop of a dime!

When i was at the tour of beach i did not forget the metal detecting..Use a big long handled scoop with dime sized for holes and i think that types of things increase the enjoyment of your trip..
