    E-trac gold reading question

    Hey everyone....

Got a request today to look for a ring tomorrow among the leaves in someone's yard here in my town. I haven't found, or really tested, much gold on the E-trac so I'm wondering what Fe/Co you think it would be most likely to hit around. She said it is a 14k very thick white gold band with two large center diamonds from her grandmother's original wedding ring, and several smaller ones.

Hopefully there won't be too much mid-tone trash around the yard. Would be great if I could help her out.

FE will be 12 for the most part. It may go 11 or 13, but should be 12. The CO depends on the size of the ring. My 14k wedding band rings up at 12-23. The 10k girls class ring I found earlier this year came up at 12-19.

Thanks Dale. She keeps saying the band is THICK THICK. I'll check out every signal in that range.
