ACE 250 gets another Indian and some silvers!

    Howdy diggers,
I spent 6 hours MDing that old park that has been producing for me the last 6 weeks. Now, mind you, it ain't easy hunting! The park has been hammered hard over the years and all that is left is trashy signals and off signals. I find lots of old nickels and dimes and pennies, but no big silver. I hunt very slowly and move the coil foward an inch at a time. I use the thickness of the shaft as my guide for how far to move the coil forward.

So far, this park has given me 3 IHs, a couple dozen wheaties, 5 buffs and 1 V nickel, and 8 silvers (7 dimes and 1 war nickel)! I made a video which can be seen here: ACE 250 gets another Indian and some silvers!!

I also found over 60 clad coins which brings my 2010 clad total to $169.56.
Oldest Coin: 100-60 BC Gallic bronze coin (Sequani Tribe)
Oldest Silver Coin: 1156 hammered Pfennig from (now) Bavaria
Oldest U.S. coin: 1805 Draped Bust Large Cent
Best Coins EVER: 1625 4 Sols from Kingdom of Chateau Renaud, France
    1662 15 Kreuzers, Leopold I, Austria
Best Relics: Bronze Age Arrowheads & Spearhead, 2c Roman silver ring, complete medieval knight's spur (x6)

Hey DaddyDigger, Nice hunt with the Ace250. Some of them holes looked pretty deep. Congrats on your oldest Wheatie and of course the silvers lol Great video too. It pays to go slow and over the same spots. That rain really helps the deep targets get heard.

How deep did you have to dig on average for the dimes? Thanks and keep up the good work!

The average is probably closer to 6 inches deep for those silver dimes. The buffs are heavier and are running 7 to 8 inches deep.
