    recent finds

    Found this nice 1904o barber half in an old park about 7 inches down , kinda of a week signal, there was a bent nail and some other metal in the hole about the coin , a old german tank toy, cast , quite heavy for its size and a little horse part of a set i think, a small army braclet , maybe ladies size, 2 barber dimes from same yard , old house , yes i nicked it , nice barber otherwise, last pic is 4 pennys , i found them stuck together , soaked them , came apart and a 1892 indian was in the middle, good hunting all, from dave in iowa

    The half is in great shape!!
    Those must be some early wheats to be buried with a 1800's IH

    They were 2 1918d and a 1920

    Wow, that's nice. Sorry about the dime, but that sweet half more than makes up for it.
    Oldest: 1755 Spanish silver; 1800 half dime | 1842 seated half | 1857 seated quarter | 516 silver coins in 2011!

    Great finds Dave. That Barber half is sweet!! The other Barbers ain't too shabby either lol And if it makes you feel any better, I have an 1894 Barber quarter to match your dime. We can call them the scareface twins Some great finds there Dave, thanks for posting them!

    You guys are killing me! Holy cow those are some great great finds! I pulled a barber half this spring and I STILL look at it every other day or so. Congrats!
