another pre civil war naval cuff button * more buttons & a merc

Todd was workin so I shot back up to my small depression area near side of road.I talked to the home owner on the right side of the wall and he gave me the go ahead to hit his yard area.no grass in his yard all trees and leaves.only thing i found was the civil war era tent rope tightener.so i jumped back in the walled in area bumped up my sensitivity to plus 2 on the MXT all pro and buttons started poppin again.a bunch of flatties, the matching cuff to my other pre civil war naval with Kendrick & co back mark.a piece of pewter shoe buckle frame,2 pewter spoon bowls,a gorgeous fully gold gilted tiny one piece designed cuff and a 42 merc.was a nice enjoyable 3 hour hunt.no bee stings and a cool plate in the woods for a end of the day photo shoot

Gotta love those easy off the road places for after work hunts. The gold cuff button is really nice along with those naval buttons. Sweet digs Dave, congrats on the hunt and finds.

Nice looking finds Dave! nice save on the matching button. The plate is pretty wild that it's all in one pc.

The sailor buttons are the best.

How did that plate survive unmolested for all this time we will never know, but I am glad you were able to rescue it.

the plate looked like one of those you could get by using them old S&H green stamps that you could redeem for gifts . I believe a set of plates similar to that one was one of the gifts you could get back in the 60's or 70's .
