    New to forum and detecting

    Hello to all! I`m new to the hobby. I purchased my first detector about a week ago. I found my first coin a 1902 barber dime a couple days a go in my yard. I can really see how this can be addicting.

    That 1902 Barber Dime must have been a really exciting first find for you! That's terrific! What kind of detector do you have?

    This hobby is addicting for sure. There are so many coins and relics out there just waiting to be found.

    Welcome to the forum and to the hobby! Your first coin was a 1902 barber dime, wow, that is amazing beginner's luck. That would knock about 3 items off most people's bucket list! A barber, a silver, and a coin over 100 years old!
