My dad and I hit a house in our home town this past Saturday morning. I was finding a few wheats, but after about a half an hour i got a good signal about 8" down. after digging almost 10" I pulled out a really cool Token / tag from the KERSTEN & SMILEY GRAIN & COAL CO. It shows the 3 road intersection where the elevator still stands, only today it's part of the towns Historical Society Museum. This is one of the coolest relics I've found because of it's local history. This weekend, my dad and I are going there to show them our find, If they like the piece, we are going to donate it to the Historical Society. Pretty Cool.
Later that day, we met up with Zrickkid and his freind Tim and hit a few houses. I found a few more wheats and a 1941 merc. We had a good time hunting with Rickie & Tim and hope we can do it again soon.
