    Another Great water hunt 09/20/14

Went back over to the beach that I found the 10 silver coins and the rings that are posted in a thread called "Hit old faithful and then tried a new spot on a local beach here in Oklahoma" today 09/20/14. Well I had hopes I could have another awesome day of finding some old silver. I got to the beach bright and early and didn't waist anytime getting in the water. The hunting was slow and I didn't find any silver for at least a couple hours and it was the very small silver ring. I was hunting with a friend and he got a 10 kt old class ring (1952). He was hunting the beach area and I was in the water. I was wondering at about this time if I was going to find any real silver today. I finally found a Merc and then I started locating the good stuff with the Frankin and several other dimes before my buddy decided he had, had enough for the day. After he left I found the Walker and then four more Rosies along with the sterling USN ring and the gold IHS ring from Italy. I gave it up just before darkest set in, so I could make the hour long trip back home with hopes I might get everything cleaned and see just what I had found. Getting 2 big silvers and 7 silver dimes is a close second to the hunt on 9/14/14.

    Thanks for looking,

    Dave

Nice finds coming out of the water. The salt water here in Maryland tend to eat up coins.
