    KG II and Heel PLate

Went back to the field where I got the MASS button. It's really peaceful there meaning there is nobody around.

Decided to run in just the Coin program and got a couple of goodies. The first one is the heel plate with the heart and the second one is a KG II. Pretty sure the date is 1756

    Thanks for looking and HH

Congrats, but were you testing people? It's a left facing bust. The 1766 was a KG III, not II, but had the right facing bust. Maybe yours is 1756?

I do enjoy the times when it's peaceful out to detect. Hot or not, as long as it's peaceful. I did a town green and the ton of cars driving by is a distraction. There was someone who even pulled over to take a pic of the street sign. There have been a few parks I hit were kids were trying to watch me and carry things like the shovel and pinpointer and even try the machine. Last time I had someone asking for $ for the bus. There is no bus in my town..... wth?

Al , you have a great field to detect ... keep Rob out of it

the copper is a King George II but the head or type of bust looks like a Hibernia or Irish type copper , and they can go up to 1760. heres a picture of one

Al , its difficult to see the type of bust. particularly the lower part of the bust as i would be able to tell you what type of year span it could be from.

I'm on my celly now and I can zoom real well. The pic I will say isn't the best but zoomed in it almost looks like 1746. I didn't make any assumption the first time cuz only bust was in first post. I wasn't sure if the last number was really toasted but it Def looks like a 6. You got it there so maybe the decade is a 5 but to me zoomed in it seems there is a line almost parallel to the 7. Which would be for a 4 .Usually this back and forth is not to make it seem a better/older find. Lol.

Congrats on the 1700s copper and the cool heel plate, Al!

We don't ever find those heel plates here in Illinois for some reason. They must be an east coast item, or just before our time here.

Dan is right, keep Rob away from that site.
