    Exciting New Location

I been meaning to check out a new location I recently found. It is a Nature Reserve now but used to be just the woods on the edge of town that folks have used for hunting and outings for at least two hundred years. I found a fair share of old brass and this collection of coins.

The Large Cents are 1813 and 1817 I believe. It is kind of difficult to tell with certainty as they are still crusty even after a quick clean with a tooth brush and soap.

What is your favorite trick for cleaning old crusty large cents?

WTG on the nice spot! Always feels good to have a new area with LOTS of potential. Get some Ren wax for the LC's it does a beautiful job on them.
