    Finds from the Past Week

Here are my finds from the past week:

I found the silver ring at my "go to" grade school after work last Thursday. The Rosie was in a "hunted out" park during my lunch hour last Friday.

On Saturday I hunted a couple sites with my brother. I found the 1917 Merc in a ditch and the 1973 Hot Wheels car in a private yard. The good luck token was in a bean field where a house had once stood.

I went out with my brother again on Sunday. We hunted his in-laws' farm house and found the 1944 Merc. His father-in-law told us where an old house had stood in one of his corn fields and that's where we found the 1905-O Barber Dime.

    Congrats!
The Barber is a nice find! But I like the ring the most! It just has that "old" look to it.

Nice finds Tony. It's a good time of the year to get out. How about a pic of the back of the Barber dime to see if it is the rare micro-O or regular O mint mark?

The front of the Barber Dime has been lightly kissed by the plow, so I went ahead and cleaned it with baking soda. Here's the reverse, it has the normal O mint mark.

Great bunch of finds you've got there for the past week Tony the other day I found a silver rosie that baking soda wouldn't phase so I zapped it with electrolysis.
