Ah my dream... I love reading about caches uncovered... a little ol pocket spill is all I've had the priveledge of lol Good luck with the investigating thumbsup01 Research and the history is exciting part for me too. I'm wanting to find some good old picnic groves and swimming holes through local history books.

Re: New here, from South Mississippi

Thanks for all the welcomes, sorry for the (2) year delay addressing this post. I use a Whites Eagle II SL, I know it's old but it still works great. There are Pirate caches on Honey Island, on the Louisiana, Mississippi State line on the Pearl River. There are also left over Cannons and such from the War of 1812, Civil War. This is the best time of year to go there, the snakes would be hibernating, and the alligators (well you could keep them at bay.).

Glad you found your way back to us after a couple of years Snakes and alligators are definitely not my thing, but there is a lot of very interesting history in your area! Hope you find some great relics

I thought we had it bad with ticks.....but alligators? I never even sniffed a cashe.....I might not even dig it, as it would overload on my machine.
