Dec. 21st hunt / captured a Barber & Stabbed an Indian

I went out this morning and met up with Zrickkid for a little door knocking. Good targets were hard to come by today.
The first house only gave up one wheat cent. The second house was a little better for me. Nothing in the front yard but in back, I dug an 1899 at 9 inches. It rang up as a wheat and I kept digging and digging to get to it. When i finally got it out, I saw that it was an Indian and that I stabbed it with my digger. About 20 minutes later in the same yard i dug a deep 1901 Barber dime. ( no dings ). I also dug an aluminum ring and 4 wheats.
Although it was slow today, we both went home with keepers. It's always a pleasure hunting with Ricky, only next time I'm picking the town.

Does anybody know what the item in the last 4 pictures is? No Dave, It's not a henway!!

Congrats on the Indian and the Barber Dime, Don! I'm glad you were able to get out today, it was actually a decent day with no wind. I'm thankful the ground isn't frozen yet!

I have no idea what that last item is. Sorry!

That carb definitely had a diaphragm pump cause the old Rochester's had a plunger type, maybe that was a Holly or FoMoCo

I went out for a couple hours today. You had a lot better luck than I did.
I didn't find any old coins.
    Congrats on your goodies!
    How'd Ricky do?

Good job Don. Several nice coins you have rescued there. I really like the ring. It has a hammered appearance to it. Hard to believe we can still hunt this late in the year. We will pay the price in the spring though. Merry Christmas and HH, Dave.
