    ? Custom Paint Jobs ?

    I was just wondering if any of you detecting enthusiast out there have slapped a custom airbrushed paint job on your detector ?

    No, but its crossed my mind a few times!
    I have given my Garrett pro pointer one. Just a plain bright red. So its easier to find.

    I don't believe it will Del but, if it does I"ll PM ya before the second coat drys.
    I was just kicking the idea around and though I'd check and see what others were doing. Maybe a little cabin fever.

    he I hear you on the cabin fever , I would consider painting someone else's machine though . Maybe HEAVYMETANUT would like a dayglo hot pink mxt pro

    I don't think my PF Flyer's are fast enough to pull that one off Del.

    Dan, maybe even a hello kitty on HEAVY's machine? lol.

    How about finding decals to put on there? Something a bit resilient like they put on cars but won't peel off on their own. Granted it is quicker than watching paint dry.

    Since the upper shaft on the Etrac is aluminum, I was thinking about removing the upper shaft, removing the paint, then polishing the aluminum! After thinking about it I seen someone on YouTube with theirs like that. It's kinda cool.
