Unusual start to 2015 but todays hunt back to normal

Started the year unexpectedly (but quite happy about it) with my first 3 silvers of the year being quarters found in 3 different parks. Today I hit a small park I found one of the quarters at and was able to hit a double Mercury spill and a Rosie. Love the quarters but just as happy to see some dimes in the hole. Snapped a picture of all the better coin finds so far. Love the most ground in spring as I doubt I would of found any of these coins later in the year. Wisconsin Digger

Three silver washingtons at the beginning of the year? intriguing. Idk if this time of year matters more than summer or fall. I didn't pay attention in class this year, , but by the end of this season I'll know if the season matters.

Now that a great way to start the year! THREE silver quarters, wow! And lots of other cool old coins as well. I agree with you about the moist soil, it does seem to make signals "pop" and it's so easy to dig as well.

    Way to go!
