    I'm trying to add an avatar

    I don't see where to do it now. Can someone help me out.

    Click on 'profile' at the top of the page, then 'modify profile'.

    I see your point.

    Actually it appears you have to highlight 'modify profile' and from the dropdown choices, pick 'forum profile'.
