    7 silvers this week!

I took my boys to a large empty lot that I have driven by 100 times on the outskirts of a really old town. I did a little research on it and found out that there was a school there from the 1930's to about 2000. We had fun...a 1958 rosie, 1917 Buff and about 16 Wheaties. Also found a token for a local hotel for 5 cents in trade.

I hit it again the other night by myself for about 3-4 hours and did much better! 5 more silvers. Nothing too old with the exception of the worn 1917 merc. Also got a 1935 Buff and another 15 wheats.

I am sure it has been detected before but finding all of those coins gives me a bit of hope that it was not hit too hard.

The war nik came from a lunch break hunt that I had this week.

Congrats on the seven silver coins, and two silver quarters to boot! There's nothing like the sight of that shiny stuff in the dirt to put a smile on your face.

I like the Buffalo Nickels and the old trade token too.

I bet that 5 cent token has the establishment and address on the back. I love the history behind those things. That presidential token sounded great under the coil. You're digging all that silver....I bet you could hear that buff really locked on to a low VDI number, for me it's a 58. Nice job!
