    Hello from CA

    Been at this for a couple of months and found some interesting stuff. No gold yet though (sigh). I am addicted!! I have many questions AND I hope to learn from the experienced MD'ers inn here.

    That BH Sharpshooter II is fine detector. Learn the three tones, use a good pair of headphones, you'll do great! Questions?...just ask.

    Tahoe is a really beautiful area (except when locked in by an avalanche like I was!) I would kill for time in that area prospecting/detecting for gold. Sow some really promising looking streams while driving in the area.
