    Reach for the sky outlaw,,,,

It's official,,,, I'm a Junior Sheriff!! Got out for an hour and a half this afternoon. A neighbor has cut down a heavily overgrown fencerow that divided two home sites. No coins were found, but a couple of kiddie toys, a St. Christopher pendant,,, and plenty of trash kept me intrigued.

That's a good question. It's thin and it was pressed or spun out of brass,,, the hole is only 1/8 inch or so. It's physically the size of a light bulb socket, but the hole is too small to safely put wires through. It kind of reminds me bell end of a candle snuffer. The property once belonged to the town doctor, and it is kind of fancy. There are indeed fancy outdoor electric lights on cast iron pedistals along the circle driveway, but the house really isn't old enough to have ever had candles in the globes.

the kid's badge is in very very nice shape , usually these cast or "pot" metal items degrade in the soil pretty quickly . congrats !!
