    Sweet 2 center!

Yesterday evening I had planned to go detecting in an old town that has been good to me the last month or so but looking at the radar storms were brewing over and around it so I decided to stick close to my work hoping to get a couple hours of detecting in before I got rained out.

I saw a guy taking out his trash at a house I have knocked at but no one was ever home. He was very nice and said that I could but wanted me to leave half of it for him to do. He said that one day he would like to buy a detector and try it for himself. I had both the Etrac and deus with me so I offered to let him try out the deus. He was pretty excited to test it out and after 10 minutes of explaining what to do and testing it over a quarter he had in his pocket he was ready to go. Unfortunately he did not find much and gave up after about 30 minutes. But he said that I could have free reign on the rest of the yard. I did not find too much either...just a couple Wheaties and a 1963 D rosie.

The rain was still holding off over me so I knocked on the home next door (also an 1880's home). The lady said go ahead. I was pretty excited about this place because it was a corner lot with a fairly big front and side yard. I ended up getting 8 wheats and my best condition 2 center yet ... from 1866! Also got a Toe Plate...I think that is what they are called.

I think I will stop by there today during my lunch to go back over a couple areas next to the sidewalk. I was rushing along last night as the rain and thunderstorms danced around me.

The other silvers are from my lunch hunts earlier this week.

    Thanks for looking!

Fantastic coin! Both of my 2 centers are very worn...nothing close to the quality of yours. Congrats.
