Got this beneath a big old rotten apple tree behind a cellar hole dating in the 1840s - 1930 time frame. Looks perhaps like the back of some sort of clasp that opened. Not sure about that weird rivet thing. Looks as if there could have been two others (now missing). Give me your guesses/opinions...I'm drawing blank at this point. Decorative so I kept it. Perhaps a clothing item? Thanks.
