After Work Hunt / Silver Coins And Ring

I met up with my friend Tim after work today. We hit a corner house for about an hour and a half. I decided to hit the parkway and Tim went up near the house. About 20 minutes in, at almost the same time, we both hit a Washington quarter. Mine was a 1942-D. about a half hour later, I got another one, a 1964-D. Then 15 minutes later I dug a Thimble, Pretty sure it's just aluminum. My last target was a 1918-S Merc.
Just as I was walking back to the car, I got a screaming 12-47-48 at about 5 inches. pulled out a really nice Sterling ring.

Must have missed this.. Nice pile o'silver. I'm always thinking to ask at houses where the road bends around as they are possibly older than a corner lot. Not foolproof as one like that I know actually has a corner lot (now) as the street was added later on. The road directly in front of the house is what defines it... It's a 1600s house where her nephew does detecting so I couldn't do it there for that reason.

Nice haul Don. Found nearly the exact same thimble earlier this year. Only exception was that on mine the background color is red as opposed to the blue on yours. Congrats.
