    Sunday Hunt / Silvers 146 & 147

I met up with my friend Tim Sunday for a little door knocking. It took over an hour to find a house to hunt, but we finally found one we liked. About 20 minutes into the hunt I got a nice solid 12-45 at 6 inches. at the bottom of the hole I spotted a silver rim and pulled out a 1945 Merc. 15 minutes later I dug a 1959 Rosie. The Rosie tied my last years Silver count at 147.
I tried for a couple more hours to find one more to beat last year, but that was it for the Silver. I did however, dig a 1906 Indian at the second house we hunted.

Nice score. Too bad it couldn't be a trifecta. There's still just a tad more hunting time to beat last year's take.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing all afternoon Sunday. It would have been a nice way to break last years total.

I know your silver count is high but you have to finish off that roll of Indians. that is an amazing count on Indian Heads. I don't think I have that many in 4 years. great finds good luck on 150 silvers WD
