    8x5 Coil

Got my new 8x5 coil last week and have had it out twice now. I gotta tell you, I really like it. It hits target a lot deeper it seems. And discrimination and pinpointing seems easier too. Plus it's much lighter than I thought it would be.

Has anyone else used the 8X5 and have an opinion of it?

I also just got the new Garrett pinpointer. So far I'm loving that too.

Congrats on the new coil! Good to hear it's working out so well on your machine. I personally can't wait for my 2 new NEL coils to arrive hopefully sometime next week. Got notice they just cleared customs today.

The Garrett pinpointer is nice-I used mine for much of the summer, but I didn't like the side scan because it was too easy to miss the target in the hole. I would often be looking deeper when when it's actually to the side. I just recently upgraded to the Whites Bullseye TRX which I find is more accurate and hits much deeper.
