    Shield Nickle Sunday!

Got out with Fast Frank yesterday for an all day hunt. Temps were 46 at the start of the hunt and went up to about 70.

Was able to cross off my 1st Shield Nickle off my bucket list.

Nice nickel. I found something similar to your hour glass shaped item, but smaller. I have yet to get it ID'd.

Thanks Dan. We went back to the site where I dug my only IH earlier this summer. Was about 1 coil swing away but missed it. Frank is doing just fine. He had the Hot Coil on Sunday.

Thanks. That long thing is an Ox knob. They ring up like a LC and are the bane of Cellar Hole diggers.

Actually when I first dug it I was like oh great a dang Wheatie. Was happy when I saw the 5 in the center as I knew what I had then.

Send me your address & I'll send them to you, LOL!
