    40th Copper is a 1788 CONN

After work today I hit a field for an hour and dug what I thought was a dandy button as it was a 78 vdi and slightly larger/thinner than most coppers. After I got the dirt off I could clearly see the CONNECT and the 1788. The silver dime is 1953 (I was hoping it was a 1799 1/2 real ). The buckles just allowed me to post in this section I can't remember the last time I went out and didn't make a nice find
    Thanks!
PS I found that hoe with Tim the other day, is that collectable/colonial or just recycle it?

Congrats on the copper. You are on a roll Drew! I'd save that hoe and put it in my "some day I will do electrolysis on this stuff" pile.

40 coppers Drew...awesome. You're 38 ahead of me this year so I have some catching up to do in the next few weeks!

40 coppers in 1 season is amazing Drew! You've really killed it this year. Just an FYI there is a penalty for finding any more this year so you'll have to send them to me, LOL!
