    Bounty Hunter find,,,,

I sold an old Bounty Hunter to a friend today. Before the meet, I decided I'd take it outside and test the batteries and be sure everything was working okay. After only 30 seconds and only 25 feet from my back door I found this beautiful old pendant watch. Needless to say I was pretty surprised. I guess the previous owners lost it before we bought the home 10 years ago. And I don't know what the other thing is,,, but it looks like the grand mack-daddy flat button.

Sweet looking watch! The face is in really good condition-maybe you should detect your yard a bit more, who knows what else is hiding there!

Up until now all I've ever found in my yard is hotwheels, modern coins and bits of window flashing. I know I've swung that area of the yard several times before. Either I was not overlapping my swings good enough or the watch was giving mixed signals and I may have passed it off as junk. Wish I could go back with the MXT and check it in the undisturbed ground. Might be an interesting winter project to block off areas of the yard and thoroughly work each area with different coils and even different detectors and see what lessons can be learned. If nothing else the yard should get cleaned up nicely!!
