An SLQ was at the top of my bucket list, and it finally happened yesterday! It's a 1923 and it's actually in decent shape but I'm going to keep working on getting that tarnish off (it's not a key date). I guess a flying eagle cent or maybe a capped bust anything is now at the top of my wish list. Happy to get the SLQ before the end of this season and already looking forward to next!

Congrats on the SLQ!!It's not a rare "S" mint, is it? Still a heck of a find. Looks like you got a few other nice finds too. Would be interesting to see if the watch cleans up, maybe get the makers info from inside the cover.
As for a cleaning tip, stay away from the harsh chemical dip cleaners-they will ruin the finish and etch or pit the surface.

Yeah, no it's not an S...I certainly would have mentioned that. Of course my first SLQ is one of THE most common....but I'm not complaining! I already did the baking soda/hot water then toothpaste rub and I was surprised that black gunk wouldn't budge. Excellent find and great to see it has a clear date. Musket-ball and pocket watch are also good. See if you can nab a date on the watch. Lots of those will have maker's marks to help ID them.
