Been doing pretty well at the beaches

I've been using my Excal 1000 to hunt in the water at some local beaches. I've found less gold than normal but some other interesting finds. The very nice weather has warmed to water to the upper 70's which is a very nice plus this year. I'm usually in the water by 5:30 am and don't get out until 10:00 when the life guards come on duty. Retirement is great.

MAN WHAT A HAUL! Glad you are enjoying retirement and out having fun. I am working my tail off in Corpus Christi where the beach manager tells me she rarely sees anyone detecting, and I am to busy to change that.

Good for you! Too many folks never get to really enjoy being retired.

Thanks. I do enjoy hunting in the water. I mainly watch for days when the wind is out of the south or south east since this results in low wave action on my beaches.
