A Few Finds From The Last Week

With the short days and Christmas season upon us, I haven't gotten out much lately. I was able to get in a few short hunts though. The key is from a Ford Model T.

Congrats on the nice tokens and silvers! Not often do we see a model T key.

Here's the info on the Pierce token if anyone is interested: http://americanhistory.si.edu/collec...t/nmah_1382277

Funny, I don't even remember the name as being president-I guess he wasn't so great after all!

Is this your second Model T key? I remember a few here and there being posted. I researched about them when I found one and I think the #58 will tell you the approximate year it was made. The men in space token is different. Seems they were made (of aluminum) by the Glendinning Companies Inc. in 1969. All around nice finds.

Thanks and yes, my son found 2 earlier this year. I believe the #58 key was used from 1919 to 1927.
Digging coins is great but finding the old relics and tokens always makes my day. love the history behind them.

I like the space flight token. We used to watch all the launches on the black and white tv in our class in elementary school.
