Could be a bad year for bugs

I swear I saw a horsefly yesterday alongside other bugs while hiking in the woods and it was only 43°. I haven't been bothered yet and don't expect to for a while (other than ticks) but this could be a bad sign of a bad bug year. They won't stop me from detecting though (only stepping on underground Yellowjackets nests will )

I hope not ! Besides , Lyme's, EEE, West Nile, we now have Zika. Might as well add dengue, yellow fever and malaria to the list.

I agree RI, these won't stop me either. People just need to use common sense and use common insect protection and your chances of contracting one of those diseases is about the same odds of actually finding the coin at the top of your bucket list.......pretty slim.

But I do hate ticks just on principal. I only hate yellow jackets when they sting me.
